Questions pastors ask first
- What audio formats do you support?
- MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV, OGG, FLAC and WebM, up to 400MB per file, which is about two and a half hours. A phone recording of the service is fine.
- How accurate is the transcription?
- About 99% on clear sermon audio, including theological vocabulary and Scripture references. Livestream audio, distant microphones and heavy background music lower that, so the transcript is always yours to edit.
- Do you identify speakers?
- No. Sermons are one voice, so the transcript runs continuously with timestamps every few seconds rather than speaker labels.
- How long does it take?
- Under five minutes for most sermons. A 45-minute message usually takes three to four minutes, and the Sermon Pack is written in the same run.
- What can I download?
- The transcript as TXT, SRT or VTT. The Sermon Pack, any tool result, or the whole Monday Kit as Word, TXT, SRT, VTT and Markdown, or print to PDF.
